Description
2026 Amazone CombiDisc 3000
Seedbed preparation on light soils
The CombiDisc mounted compact disc harrow is ideal for effective seedbed preparation on light soils. With its compact design and low mounting height, the CombiDisc can also be used with smaller tractors. The optional use of the Minimum TillDisc cutting discs can significantly reduce the degree of soil tillage during seedbed preparation and retain more moisture in the soil. The CombiDisc – an efficient option for many areas of application.
Your benefits at a glance
High performance!
Short, compact and light design – also suitable for smaller tractors. Disc suspension in pairs – for optimised contour following and excellent through-passage.
User-friendly!
Very easy, quick and tool-less change of the soil tillage machine in a seed drill combination thanks to the QuickLink quick coupling system. Hydraulic working depth adjustment as an option.
Sturdy!
Maintenance-free overload protection via the sprung rubber buffer blocks.
The finishing touch for lighter soils
Machine concept of the CombiDisc
- Mounting of the seed drill via the simple Quick-Link system
- Roller for ideal reconsolidation, with a sprung knife system as an option
- Twin-row disc element with side plates
QuickLink – quickly combined, flexible in operation
The QuickLink quick coupling system allows the easy separation of the CombiDisc with a few hand clamps so that the mounted compact disc harrow can also be used in solo operation for seedbed preparation.
High output
The 24 serrated discs have a diameter of 410 mm and provide intensive soil tillage. The CombiDisc can be used at working depths of between 3 cm and 8 cm. Working speeds of up to 15 km/h are possible, thanks to its low pulling power requirement. The CombiDisc is a high output and effective alternative to the rotary harrow or rotary cultivator, especially on light soils.
Benefits of the CombiDisc discs
- Very shallow working at depths of 3 cm to 8 cm
- Optimum seedbed preparation
CombiDisc discs – extremely shallow, extremely easy to pull
The CombiDisc discs, with their 410 mm diameter discs, are the ideal solution for extremely shallow and intensively mixing soil tillage. Due to the small disc diameter, a high peripheral speed of the disc is achieved ensuring a very good crumbling effect. Especially on light to medium soils, the CombiDisc, in combination with a harrow-mounted seed drill, ensures the optimum seedbed.
Aggressively angled discs for optimum seedbed preparation
The twin-row disc harrow loosens, crumbles and levels the seedbed prior to seed placement. The CombiDisc discs are aggressively mounted with an angle of 14° for the front row of discs and 12° for the rear row of discs. This angle ensures the optimum levelling of the seedbed. In conservation tillage, the straw near the surface is additionally further distributed and mixed. In this case, the disc position ensures an even flow and the transition of the soil-straw mixture from the first to the second disc row and results in a good mixing.
Perfect – discs suspended in pairs
Thanks to the disc suspension in pairs via the sprung rubber buffer blocks on the frame, each double set of discs is able to follow the ground contours individually. This makes for a consistent shallow tillage, even if the soil surface is uneven. The suspension of the discs at the same time allows the optimum through passage of large amounts of organic matter.
Reliable and absolutely maintenance-free!
The sprung rubber buffer blocks on which the discs are suspended not only serve to ensure an optimum matching to the ground contours but also act as overload safety protection for the individual pairs of discs. The oversized rubber buffer blocks are maintenance-free and are characterised by a large potential deflection providing safety even where large stones prevail.
Practically orientated down to the last detail:
- Contour following of the individual disc elements and with built-in overload and stone release
Wide roller programme – for any location, the right roller
Decide for yourself
Reconsolidation is the most important task of any roller. Owing to the many possible challenges (seed/soil conditions/lifting power of the tractor), a large number of different rollers are available to choose from. This means that the right roller can be selected for any seed and any soil. As the harrow-mounted seed drill is supported directly on the roller, the total weight is easily carried, thereby ensuring optimum working.
Closed roller
In general, closed rollers are better weight carriers than open rollers, especially on loose and light soils. Closed rollers also tend to clog less. It is precisely for this reason that the rubber rings are fitted on a full tube on the wedge ring roller and the wedge ring roller with Matrix profile. When the rings sink into the loose soil, the tube carries the weight across the entire length.
The sticking of any dirt, capping or blockages is not an issue!
Large diameter
Larger diameter packer rollers carry the load better because the weight acts on a larger support area. Rollers with a large diameter also run much more smoothly than rollers with a small diameter.. AMAZONE rollers therefore have large diameters of 500 mm to 600 mm. These advantages are particularly noticeable at higher sowing speeds as they enable exact seed placement.
Targeted reconsolidation – for better plant growth and higher yields!
Reconsolidation in strips
By reconsolidating in strips, it is possible to create an optimum soil condition which adapts to the current weather conditions and thus ensures the conditions for rapid and uniform plant emergence. This means that reconsolidation in strips is an insurance for timely cultivation. In addition, the homogeneous and well reconsolidated strip has no cleat marks. This is a decisive advantage compared to rollers with full-surface profiles, as this has an effect on the smooth running of the sowing coulters in particular.
Water always where it should be
Reconsolidating in strips just in the actual seeding zone allows the seed to be connected to the ground water found deeper without bringing the full capillary effect up to the soil surface. This ensures that the seedling is supplied with water (1) without any evaporation on the surface (2). The soil is not dried out unnecessarily. This ensures good germination, even under dry conditions.
In wet conditions, however, the unconsolidated strips between the seed rows allow water to infiltrate down deeper (3). This enables an adequate gaseous exchange (4) – vital oxygen can reach the young roots, even as they grow deeper into the soil. The best conditions for good germination and successful seedling development of the crops.
