Description
2026 Double L Conveyors 1242
Your product need a convenient way to travel from your cleaning operation into your storage. Imagine that job without conveyors. Product unloading and cleaning would all have to be done in your storage.
It's not enough to convey product from Point A to B. There's a difference between just doing a job and doing it well. There is a quick way to distinguish between quality equipment and the pretenders. The good stuff is always painted yellow. Double L's equipment is designed to be smarter, more durable, and more tailored to your specific needs than what's offered by the rest of the competition.
Features May Include:
-
NO-DROP TELESCOPING BELT
Anytime your product is dropped, the drop may cause damage to it. Only Double L offers a telescoping conveyor that doesn't introduce drops along the belt path. No more sacrificing product quality for the convenience of a telescoping conveyor.
-
V-GUIDE BELT TRACKING
Properly tracking a rubber belt on a conventional pulley-style conveyor can be very tedious. If not done properly, a misaligned belt can rub against the steel frame of the machine and cause damage both the belt and machine. V-Guide belt tracking eliminates this hassle by tracking the belt along a formed ridge built into the frame. The ridge prevents the belt from shifting during operation.
-
VULCANIZED RUBBER DRIVE PULLEY
Friction between the belt and the drive pulley is critical to the efficient operation of the conveyor. Vulcanized pulleys increase the friction between the belt and pulley and correspondingly increase the motor's torque transmission to the belt.
-
SMOOTH STEEL TAIL PULLEY
For years, self-cleaning pulleys were used in the tail of the conveyor. They worked decently for preventing dirt build-up between the belt and pulley, but their star-shaped design would bounce the belt. The belt in the conveyor rides much more fluidly with smooth steel pulleys.
-
BUTT-TOGETHER COUPLING
Introducing drops along every conveyor transition is hard on your product. Straight sections of your conveyor line can connect end-to-end without causing unnecessary product drops.
-
DOG-LEG DISCHARGE
Not all handling lines flow in a straight line directly from trucks into storage. When two conveyors connect at an angle, product drop can be a concern. The dog-leg discharge on a conveyor can lower product closer to the belt of the next conveyor downstream.
-
HOPPER BOWL
Product discharging from one leg of a handling line can tumble erratically into the next leg in the line. A hopper bowl catches product and funnels it down to the belt of the conveyor.
-
CHUTE ATTACHMENT
Curb some of the unpredictability of product flow with a chute attachment. The chute attaches to the discharge end of the conveyor and guides product in a less haphazard flow onto the belt of the next conveyor in the line.
-
SWAPPABLE ENDS
Only Double L's conveyors allow you to change their configuration after delivery. This flexibility creates options, and having options save you time and money. Convert an overlapping conveyor to a simple straight conveyor. Add a chute attachment or hopper bowl as needed. There's no need to order a whole new machine when you can simply add whichever ends you need at the time.
-
TOW HITCH OPTIONS
How do you prefer to tow your conveyors? Chance are we have you covered with the options of pintle, clevis, and ball hitches.
-
STINGER POWER AND MOUNTS
Loads that have already been cleaned before being transported to storage shouldn't have to cross another handling line. Instead, trucks can unload directly into the conveyor line and bypass an even flow tub or eliminator.
-
WIDTH AND LENGTH OPTIONS
Match the capacity of your cleaning equipment with a corresponding conveyor line. Double L offers conveyors in 30-, 36-, 42- and 48-inch-wide models. Length requirements won't be an issue either. Double L's conveyors are manufactured in various lengths starting as small as 25 feet up to 85 feet.
-
TOOLLESS ATTACHMENT
Coupling and disconnecting conveyors is a common occurrence while filling a cellar. Make the task easier with Double L's toolless attachment system. All of the necessary components for securing together a conveyor line are built into the ends of each conveyor.
-
FORKLIFT GUIDES
Take the guesswork out of using a forklift to move around conveyors. Guides help forklift operators lift conveyors without risking injury to workers or damage to your equipment.
-
RETRACTABLE TOWING HITCH
The tow hitch is helpful for transporting conveyors, but it gets in the way during operation. Ordinary thinking would have you unbolt the hitch from every conveyor in the line during operation and reconnect each hitch for transportation. That is a lot of unnecessary work which Double L's retractable hitch saves your from.
-
SOLID NO-AIR TIRES
Think of how many tires are on just one handling line. Air pressure has to be checked on all of them. Each one could go flat at the most inopportune time. Choose the solid tire option on your next conveyor, and give your crew one less thing to worry about.
-
THROUGH POWER
Conveyors can daisy-chain together to power each other from your eliminator. Cables are safely managed along the conveyor line. Tripping hazards caused by electrical cables are virtually eliminated.
-
VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE
Hydraulic power has been popular in handling equipment for years. It opens a full range of belt speeds that give you control over product flow through your line. Variable frequency drives give you the same motor speed control without the efficiency loss or mess of a hydraulic system.
-
SMART INTERLOCK
Imagine turning off each machine in your handling line individually in an emergency. Interlock saves your workers' time – and possibly their lives. Push any emergency stop button along the handling line, and the whole line stops. When the situation is resolved, Interlock restarts the line from downstream to upstream equipment to avoid product pile-ups.
-
POWER WHEEL AND STEERING
Staging equipment at a storage or transload site is much easier when the machine can drive itself. Plug in the conveyor and let its hydraulic drive wheels and king pin steering axle manuever it into position. Don't worry if your site isn't perfectly flat. The wheels have more than enough torque behind them to handle dips and bumps.
-
TOW AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS
Hitch the conveyor to a pickup for easy transportation. Tow it at speeds up to 55 miles per hour (88.51 km/hr).
-
NEGOTIATE TIGHTER TURNS
On select conveyors, the towing dolly can make navigating through town pulling a conveyor much easier. The towing dolly shortens the wheelbase of the conveyor so it can make it around city intersections.
-
TOW MULTIPLE CONVEYORS
Why take two trips when one will do? The Double L conveyor trailer holds two conveyors at once and makes faster work of moving to another storage or transload site.
-
FIELD-READY TRAILER
Equipment needs to work wherever you need it. A gas engine on the conveyor trailer powers all of its hydraulic functions for loading and unloading conveyors in the field.
